Betaine hydrochloride

Betaine hydrochloride is a generic term of a class of organic
compounds. It is white to light yellow crystalline powder,
tastes sour and acid, with moisture absorption, soluble in
water, ethanol, insoluble in ether, chloroform, reaction with
